Located Inside:
the lake effect
1. The restaurant at VITALIA Solon.
2. Named in honor of a phrase first coined in 1966 by Robert Sykes, a professor at the Oswego campus of the State University of New York. The Lake Effect means many things to many people. For Robert Sykes, it referenced the snowy weather common from late fall through winter across locations in close proximity to the Great Lakes. To lake lovers, however, it’s the smiles, laughter, shenanigans, and general good feelings inspired by time spent in or near a lake. No matter your definition, patrons of The Lake Effect can safely predict good times, laughter, and a sense of community.
